I'm writing JavaScript since 2001, since the times of Internet Explorer and no devtools except Firebug 😅. I've built a UI framework in vanilla JavaScript (a long time ago) and more recently my own programming language which compiles to JavaScript 🍃.
As with JavaScript I'm building websites since I was 14 years old. I know HTML and CSS deeply.
I know ruby since 2010 and worked with it in a professional settings since 2012, mainly with Ruby on Rails (which is still my go to framework for small projects). I build a UI framework with Ruby and Opal (compiles Ruby code to JavaScript).
I'm using Crystal for ~4 years and it's a langauge which I'm building Mint (a programming language for single page applications). I would like to use it a work setting 😉
I learned Elm at version 0.16 (2016) and followed along with it's development until recently (2021). I also build a UI framework with it (no surprise by now).
I started developing mint a few years ago with the aim to make a friendlier version of Elm - good error messages, but more open. It's safe to say that I'm the #1 Mint programmer in the world.
